Frank Owusu Amoah, popularly known as Bravo, has expressed confidence that the National Democratic Congress will increase its margin of victory in the Abirem Constituency in the 2028 general election.
The comments come as political parties continue to position themselves ahead of the 2028 elections, with party officials outlining their expectations and campaign strategies.
Speaking in an interview on TV XYZ, the Abirem Constituency Youth Organiser argued that voters should base their decisions on development rather than political party affiliation.
“If Ghanaians will avoid voting based on party colours and genuinely vote for development, I don’t see why constituents of Abirem should vote for NPP because if you look at all the developmental projects in Abirem Constituency, being roads, schools, hospitals and light and water other projects, it’s all done by NDC.”
Mr. Amoah questioned the perception that Abirem remains a stronghold of the New Patriotic Party, insisting that residents are increasingly recognising the NDC’s contribution to the constituency’s development.
“So I don’t understand why we claim Abirem is NPP stronghold because the constituents have now come to understand that NDC is the only hope.”
He also predicted that the NDC would widen its electoral advantage in the constituency during the next general election.
“Currently, the vote gap between NDC and NPP is about 6000 and I assure you that in the coming 2028 election, the vote gap will be over 7000.”
