Julius Debrah, an old student of Achimota School in the Greater Accra Region, has announced plans for an improved road network within the school as part of interventions to mark the institution’s 100th anniversary celebration.
Dr Debrah said the initiative forms part of broader efforts to support the development of the school and improve the learning and living environment for students, staff and visitors.
He explained that the road improvement project will complement other interventions planned as part of the centenary celebrations, aimed at preserving the legacy of the historic institution while addressing some of its current infrastructural needs.
Achimota School, established in 1927, is one of Ghana’s oldest and most prominent educational institutions, having produced several notable personalities across various sectors.
Dr Debrah reaffirmed the commitment of old students and stakeholders to continue supporting the school’s growth and ensuring that future generations benefit from improved facilities and infrastructure.
The planned interventions are expected to contribute to enhancing mobility within the campus and further strengthen the school’s environment as it commemorates a century of academic excellence.
