The Deputy Minister for Transport, Dorcas Affo-Toffey, has received representatives of African World Airlines (AWA) at her office following her participation in the relaunch of the Accra–Abidjan route in Côte d’Ivoire.
The meeting provided an opportunity for AWA representatives to express their appreciation to the Deputy Minister for her presence and support at the relaunch ceremony.
Ms Affo-Toffey also welcomed AWA’s engagement and commended the airline for its continued commitment to strengthening air connectivity between Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire.
She said improved air links between the two countries would contribute to greater mobility, facilitate trade and business activities, and deepen relations between Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire.
The relaunch of the Accra–Abidjan route is expected to provide travellers with increased connectivity between the two West African destinations while supporting regional integration and economic cooperation.
