The Ghana Police Service has arrested a suspect in connection with the murder of 56-year-old Enoch Obiri at Soronko Farms near Obomofodensua in the Suhum Municipality of the Eastern Region.
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, March 31, the Police confirmed that the suspect, identified as Eric Kenny, is alleged to have attacked the deceased on February 13, 2026, inflicting multiple stab wounds to his left arm and abdomen.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the suspect had previously made threats against the deceased over an alleged amorous relationship involving his wife. Police also indicate that he was seen in the area on the day of the incident.
The suspect is currently in police custody assisting with investigations and is expected to be put before court in due course.
Authorities say investigations are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
