The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) has held a strategic engagement with representatives of Laaru Consulting and the Honorary Consulate of Finland in Accra aimed at deepening trade, investment, and business collaboration between Ghana and Finland.
The meeting, led by the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of GIPC, Mr. A. Razak Baba, focused on identifying priority sectors for investment, including renewable energy, agriculture, mineral processing, manufacturing, logistics, recycling, and digital infrastructure.
Mr. Baba highlighted key national initiatives such as the Investment Opportunity Mapping Project and the Volta River Economic Corridor, describing them as strategic platforms for attracting sustainable investment into Ghana.
The discussions also explored avenues for Finnish participation in clean energy solutions, waste-to-energy projects, recycling systems, and water transportation infrastructure.
Participants further examined financing mechanisms that could help unlock viable investment opportunities and strengthen public-private partnerships between both countries.
According to GIPC, the engagement forms part of ongoing efforts to position Ghana as a competitive and attractive investment destination while expanding international cooperation in key growth sectors.
The centre reaffirmed its commitment to facilitating partnerships that support economic transformation and sustainable development.
