Okai Mintah, an aspiring National Youth Organiser of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), has launched a five-day social media video challenge aimed at promoting his campaign and engaging party supporters nationwide.
The initiative, dubbed the #GetMinted Video Challenge, forms part of his “Minted Campaign Train” and seeks to encourage members of the party’s youth wing, popularly known as the Green Army, to showcase their creativity and enthusiasm for his campaign.
In announcing the challenge, Mr Mintah called on supporters across the country to produce engaging videos highlighting at least two initiatives he intends to introduce to strengthen the NDC Youth Wing.
He said the creator of the most outstanding video would receive a surprise reward, encouraging participants to upload their entries and tag him across social media platforms.
According to the announcement, the challenge will run for five days from the date of its launch, with Mr Mintah’s team responsible for reviewing the entries and selecting the winners.
Participants are permitted to create their videos in any language of their choice, a move intended to allow supporters from different communities and linguistic backgrounds to participate.
The aspiring National Organiser urged members of the Green Army to get involved, demonstrate their creativity and use the challenge as an opportunity to contribute ideas to the development of the party’s youth wing.
The initiative forms part of Mr Mintah’s campaign activities as he seeks to become the NDC’s next National Organiser, with a focus on nationwide engagement and youth participation.
