Islamic prayers will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2026, in honour of the late Dr Dramani Bukari (ECOMOG), former Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA).
The bereaved family has announced that the Islamic funeral prayers will take place at the Damongo Astroturf at 9:30 a.m.
Dr Bukari’s passing has attracted condolences from colleagues, government officials, friends and well-wishers, who have mourned his contribution to Ghana’s petroleum sector and public service.
The funeral prayers are expected to bring together family members, colleagues, traditional leaders, political figures, friends and members of the public to pay their final respects.
The bereaved family has appealed to all mourners and sympathisers to join them in prayers as they commit the deceased to the mercy of Allah.
The family’s prayer reads:
“O Allah! Forgive him, have mercy on him and grant him the highest place in Jannah.”
May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannah Firdaus.
