Money transfer company Taptap Send has announced the full restoration of its services in Ghana after what it described as “fruitful and positive engagement” with the Bank of Ghana.
The company said the temporary suspension of its remittance services—initially expected to last a month—has been lifted earlier than planned, allowing customers to resume sending money from the UK, Europe, Canada, the USA, and the UAE to Ghana immediately.
“Taptap Send is now fully operational,” the company confirmed in a statement, assuring users that the platform remains “safe, secure, and fully compliant.”
The fintech firm reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of compliance and service excellence in Ghana and all its operating markets.
Taptap Send also expressed deep gratitude to its customers for their patience and loyalty during the service interruption.
“We love our customers dearly and cannot thank them enough for sticking with us and standing by us through this period,” the statement read. “You, our customers, are the reason we’ve been the number one app for sending money to Ghana.”
The message concluded with the company’s signature phrase: “Taptap Send is back. We dey for you! Taptap Send, Pa pa no no!”
Taptap Send remains one of the leading international remittance platforms, providing fast and affordable money transfer services to diaspora communities across Africa and other regions.
