Executive Director of Global InfoAnalytics, Musah Dankwah, has denied allegations that his company secured a sole-source contract from the Ministry of Youth Development.
Mr. Dankwah, who has been the subject of public discussion over the contract, said he was not aware of any sole-sourced arrangement and explained that he submitted a tender for the project and emerged as the successful bidder.
In a statement addressing the issue, he said his team had delivered all project milestones despite having to pre-finance the work with its own funds.
“I am not aware of any sole- sourced contract. I submitted a tender and won and we have delivered on all project milestones while using my own money to pre-finance the project. I am still waiting to be paid,” he said.
Mr. Dankwah further said he was selective about the projects he undertook and ensured that relevant requirements were met before accepting assignments.
He said the work undertaken for the Ministry of Youth Development would have a significant impact on the future of Ghana’s youth, adding that he was proud to have led the team responsible for its delivery.
According to him, all reports under the project have been submitted, while engagement on the final report remains ongoing.
“I don’t just accept any project; I ensure that I check the relevant boxes before saying yes,” he said.
Mr. Dankwah also defended his contribution to the project and expressed pride in being associated with the initiative alongside his team.
The clarification comes amid public scrutiny over the nature of the contract and the process through which Global InfoAnalytics was engaged by the Ministry of Youth Development.
