The Greater Accra Regional Minister, Linda Ocloo, has received Black Stars goalkeeper Benjamin Asare on a courtesy visit following his outstanding performance at the FIFA World Cup.
During the visit, the goalkeeper presented the Regional Minister with an autographed national team jersey, a gesture she described as a symbol of the strong connection between sports, leadership and national pride.
According to Linda Ocloo, the signed jersey will serve as a lasting reminder of the resilience, discipline and patriotic spirit demonstrated by Ghana’s finest representatives on the global stage.
She commended Benjamin Asare for his achievements, noting that his journey and success have inspired many young Ghanaians to pursue excellence through hard work, determination and commitment.
The Regional Minister said Asare’s exploits at the World Cup demonstrate that Ghanaian talent has the capacity to earn international recognition when nurtured with dedication and perseverance.
