Parliament’s Appointments Committee is scheduled to vet the final batch of deputy ministerial nominees today, Friday, July 25, 2025.
The four nominees to appear before the committee are:
Dorcas Affo-Toffey, Member of Parliament for Jomoro – Deputy Minister-designate for Transport
James Gyakye Quayson, MP for Assin North – Deputy Minister-designate for Foreign Affairs
Dr. Grace Ayensu-Danquah, MP for Essikado-Ketan – Deputy Minister-designate for Health
Mohammed Adam Sukparu, MP for Sissala West – Deputy Minister-designate for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations
The nominations were made by President John Dramani Mahama in accordance with Articles 78(1) and 79(1) of the 1992 Constitution.
Once approved, the nominees will assist their respective sector ministers in implementing the government’s development agenda and advancing the policy objectives of the Mahama-led administration.
