Parliament is set to reconvene on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, for the Second Meeting of the First Session of the Ninth Parliament of the Fourth Republic, Speaker Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin has announced.
The notice, issued in accordance with Order 58 of the Standing Orders of Parliament, formally notifies Members of Parliament (MPs) of the resumption of business following a recess.
This session marks the official restart of parliamentary proceedings, during which MPs will return to the Chamber to engage in key legislative activities.
These include debates on critical national issues, review of bills, and consideration of reports from various parliamentary committees.
