Ghana’s inflation rate continued its downward trend in November 2025, falling to 6.3%, the lowest level recorded since the 2021 rebasing of the Consumer Price Index (CPI).
This marks the 11th consecutive month of decline, signaling easing price pressures across the economy.
According to the Government Statistician, Dr. Alhassan Iddrisu, food inflation registered a sharp drop, falling from 9.5% in October to 6.6% in November.
Both locally produced and imported items also showed signs of stabilization, with local inflation declining to 6.8% from 8.0%, while imported inflation eased to 5.0% from 7.8%.
Dr. Iddrisu noted that the data indicates a broad-based moderation in prices, providing relief to households and supporting economic stability as the country continues its efforts to maintain sustainable growth.
