The Bono Regional Secretariat of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has congratulated Kwesi Ameyaw-Cheremeh and Dr. Nyame-Baafi on their appointments to key positions within the party’s national leadership.

In a congratulatory statement, the Secretariat expressed appreciation to the party’s National Executives for appointing the two distinguished individuals to serve in leadership roles at the national level.

Hon. Kwesi Ameyaw-Cheremeh, a former Member of Parliament for Sunyani East, has been appointed National Vice Chairman of the NPP, while Dr. Nyame-Baafi has been named Director of Policy at the party’s National Headquarters.

The Secretariat described the appointments as a source of pride for the Bono Region, noting that they reflected recognition of the competence, experience and dedication of the region’s people.

It expressed confidence that the two appointees would use their expertise to strengthen the party and advance its strategic objectives.

The regional leadership further stated that the appointments represented not only personal achievements for the individuals concerned but also an honour for the entire Bono Region and recognition of its contribution to the party’s growth and development.

The Bono Regional Secretariat reaffirmed its commitment to party unity and urged members to support the newly appointed national officers as the NPP prepares for the 2028 general elections.

It also wished both appointees wisdom, strength and success as they assume their respective responsibilities.

The statement concluded with a call for continued unity and commitment among party members, reiterating the NPP’s slogan, “Development in Freedom.”
