The National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) and SWIM have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote innovation, entrepreneurship and youth empowerment through Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other emerging technologies.

The partnership, which will lead to the launch of the Africa Tomorrow Innovation Alliance, seeks to equip young people with future-ready skills, support homegrown start-ups and transform African ideas into practical solutions to development challenges.

The initiative is expected to create opportunities for young entrepreneurs to explore emerging technologies, develop innovative products and services, and build businesses capable of contributing to economic growth across the continent.

Through the collaboration, NEIP and SWIM aim to strengthen the innovation ecosystem by supporting young people to harness the potential of AI and other technological advancements.

The alliance also seeks to encourage the development of homegrown solutions that respond to Africa’s needs while positioning young entrepreneurs to take advantage of opportunities in the global digital economy.

The partnership underscores the growing importance of innovation and technology in creating employment opportunities, strengthening entrepreneurship and empowering the next generation of African business leaders.

NEIP and SWIM expressed their commitment to working together to build a future in which young people can turn their ideas into impactful solutions for Ghana and the wider African continent.

Further details on the alliance’s implementation, funding arrangements and specific programmes are yet to be announced.
