The Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlement Systems Limited (GhIPSS) has presented a dividend of GHS14.58 million for the 2025 financial year to the Bank of Ghana, its sole shareholder.

The presentation was made on Tuesday, July 1, at The Bank Square following the successful conclusion of the company’s Annual General Meeting.

Receiving the dividend, Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr. Johnson Pandit Asiama, described the event as an important corporate governance milestone that reflects GhIPSS’ commitment to accountability and strong financial performance.

He congratulated the Board, Management and staff of GhIPSS for another successful year, commending their efforts in strengthening Ghana’s national payment infrastructure and advancing the country’s digital financial ecosystem.

Dr. Asiama noted that beyond the financial returns, GhIPSS continues to play a critical role in developing secure, resilient and interoperable payment systems that support the growth of Ghana’s financial sector and the broader economy.

He praised the institution for its operational excellence, innovation and sound corporate governance, urging the Board and Management to sustain the momentum and continue pursuing strategic initiatives that will enhance the company’s long-term success.

The Governor formally accepted the GHS14.58 million dividend on behalf of the Bank of Ghana and reaffirmed the central bank’s appreciation for the value GhIPSS continues to create in driving digital payments and financial inclusion across the country.
