Several weeks ago, Nana Akua Avle found herself at the center of a controversy that ultimately led to her removal from the NDC National Communication Bureau Platform. The catalyst? A heated confrontation with Kojo Twum Boafo, which reportedly stemmed from Avle’s critique of Prof. Dr. Grace Ayensu Danquah’s conduct on a show aired on Asempa FM.

During the Ekosisen program, Prof. Danquah’s comments on the “24-hour economy” sparked further discord, with Avle interpreting them as disrespectful towards Akosua Manu of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), who was also a panelist. Avle’s criticism drew reactions from various platform members, including Kojo Twum Boafo.

In response, Avle allegedly recorded an audio targeting Boafo, contrasting their financial statuses and even mentioning her daughter’s education in the USA. This move reportedly incensed many individuals on the platform, prompting Samuel Gyamfi to take the decisive action of removing Avle.

Since her removal, Avle has been conspicuously absent from representing NDC on both TV and radio platforms.

In a related development, Gibrilla Tetteh, the NDC Communication Officer in the Central Region, suffered a similar fate after defying directives from the National Communication Bureau on a particular issue.
