The general Manager of Powerfm and Host of Inside Politics, on Powerfm/TVXYZ, Mugabe Salifu Maase has asserted that most of the Electoral Commission( EC) staff are criminally minded people.
Reacting to the persistent manipulation of figures in the ongoing limited registration exercise, Mugabe said that what EC did is purely deliberate and not an oversight.

Mugabe recollected how EC announced election 2020 results many times with different figures and got away with it without any punishment.
While praising the election Directorate of the Opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC) headed by Dr. Omane Boamah , Mugabe emphasized the need to strengthen the vigilance strategies in exposing EC’s diabolic agenda of election rigging .
“ NDC should be more serious , I thank Omane Boamah and his team for good work they are doing , had it been not the vigilance of NDC , EC could have gotten away with these malicious and intentional manipulation of figures “ he remarked.
The NDC Director of Election , Dr. Omane Boamah noted on his Facebook wall that they have taken notice of manipulation of figures in day 2 and Day 3 of EC figures during limited registration exercise across the country .
However after EC got exposed , by his statement on Facebook , the EC came out to correct the figures .
This according to Mugabe constitutes criminality and EC should not be forgiven .
Meanwhile EC in a press release dated 12th May 2024 announced that it has corrected all the mistakes regarding the inconsistencies in figures during day 2 and Day 3 of limited registration exercise.
