The Member of Parliament for Abura Asebu Kwamankese (AAK) and Minister for Communications and Presidential Spokesperson, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has extended financial support to 50 tertiary students in his constituency by paying their school fees.

The support, which totals GHS 100,000, was presented to the beneficiaries and their families at a brief ceremony. The gesture is part of the MP’s broader commitment to promoting education and reducing financial barriers for students in the AAK constituency.

Following the presentation, Mr. Kwakye Ofosu took to his official Facebook page to announce the initiative and reaffirm his dedication to education.

“Education is at the very top of my agenda as MP for the Abura Asebu Kwamankese Constituency. Yesterday, I offered support to 50 tertiary students in the Constituency by paying their fees. More initiatives will be rolled out in the coming days to boost education in the Constituency,” he wrote.

The amount given to each student varied depending on the cost of their individual tuition and institutional requirements. However, reliable sources confirm that the total disbursement amounted to GHS 100,000.

Mr. Kwakye Ofosu emphasized that education remains a key focus of his tenure and assured constituents of further interventions aimed at improving access and quality across all levels.

The initiative has been widely welcomed by parents and students, many of whom expressed their gratitude for the timely support.
