The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, has cast his ballot in the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) constituency executive elections in Ellembelle.
The minister voted at Ampain, where he described the electoral process as peaceful and orderly.
Following his participation, Buah urged party members to maintain the calm atmosphere and demonstrate mutual respect as delegates elect leaders to steer the party’s affairs at the constituency level.
He emphasised the importance of unity and responsible conduct throughout the exercise, noting that the elections should strengthen the party’s internal democratic processes.
Buah also commended the electoral committee, security personnel and other stakeholders for their efforts in ensuring a transparent and smooth electoral process.
He called on all participants to sustain the cooperation and discipline demonstrated so far to ensure the successful completion of the elections.
The minister’s appeal comes as the NDC conducts its constituency executive elections to select officers who will lead the party’s structures at the local level.
