Aspiring National Youth Organizer of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Okai Mintah, has engaged youth leaders in the Central Region as part of efforts to strengthen party structures and encourage greater participation among young members ahead of the 2028 general elections.
During the weekend engagement, Mr. Mintah met constituency youth organisers and their deputies from across the region, urging them to remain committed to the party and support the government in delivering on its mandate.
He encouraged the youth leaders to remain steadfast and dedicated, expressing optimism that better days lay ahead as party members continued working together to advance the NDC’s objectives.
Mr. Mintah also joined members of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) branch of the Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN) for its Akwaaba drive, an initiative aimed at welcoming and registering new members.
The engagement provided an opportunity for him to encourage students to participate actively in the organisation and take advantage of opportunities to develop their leadership skills.
He urged the students to embrace the values of service and leadership and position themselves as agents of positive change within the party and the country.
The engagements form part of Mr. Mintah’s outreach to NDC youth structures and tertiary student groups as he seeks to build support for his bid to become the party’s National Youth Organizer.
