The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana National Gas Company (Ghana Gas), Ms Judith Adjobah Blay, has paid a courtesy call on the Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Mr Godwin Edudzi Kudzo Tameklo, to explore opportunities for closer collaboration between the two institutions.
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between Ghana Gas and the NPA and identifying areas of mutual benefit to support growth and development in Ghana’s energy sector.
The NPA, as the regulator of the country’s downstream petroleum sector, plays a key role in shaping and overseeing activities within Ghana’s oil and gas industry.
The engagement between the two chief executives highlighted the importance of collaboration among key institutions in the energy sector in addressing industry challenges and creating opportunities for innovation and sustainable development.
Discussions also centred on the need for stronger institutional partnerships to support Ghana’s energy security and broader industrialisation agenda.
The meeting is expected to pave the way for further cooperation between Ghana Gas and the NPA, particularly in areas that could enhance efficiency, innovation and growth across the oil and gas value chain.
