The Kasoa District Police Command has launched an investigation into a fire outbreak that claimed the life of renowned herbal doctor Dr. Felix Antwi Dankwa at his residence in Kasoa.
The incident occurred at about 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday, according to the police.
Dr. Antwi, the Chief Executive Officer of Antwi Herbal and Spiritual Centre, was reportedly trapped in the fire and died from his injuries.
Three other occupants of the house managed to escape but sustained injuries and are receiving medical attention.
The police have arrested three suspects in connection with the incident. They are currently assisting with investigations as authorities work to determine the circumstances surrounding the fire.
The body of Dr. Antwi has been deposited at the St. Gregory Morgue for preservation and autopsy.
The police said investigations are ongoing to establish the cause of the fire and determine any criminal responsibility.
