Metro TV, Original TV, Original 91.9 FM and Metro Digital, in partnership with stakeholders, are set to host the Clean Conference 2026 to assess Ghana’s progress towards achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
The conference is scheduled for August 21, 2026, at the Cedi Conference Centre of the University of Ghana, Legon, with proceedings expected to begin at 9:00 a.m.
The event will bring together leaders, policymakers, development practitioners, civil society representatives and other change-makers to examine key environmental and development challenges confronting communities across Ghana.
A major focus of the conference will be access to water and sanitation, with participants expected to discuss the state of these essential services in communities and the challenges limiting equitable access.
The organisers will also examine environmental pollution and other issues that could affect Ghana’s ability to meet its SDG targets by 2030.
The Clean Conference 2026 is expected to provide a platform for stakeholders to assess progress, identify gaps and explore practical solutions to challenges affecting sustainable development.
The organisers are encouraging members of the public and stakeholders to join the conversation, stressing the importance of collective action in advancing Ghana’s development agenda.
According Metro TV, the conference forms part of broader efforts to promote public awareness and stakeholder engagement around the SDGs and Ghana’s progress towards the 2030 deadline.
