Delegates of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Mpraeso Constituency of the Eastern Region have elected new constituency executives to steer the affairs of the party for the next four years.
The election, held on Saturday, was conducted in a peaceful, transparent and orderly manner, with party members describing the process as a reflection of the NPP’s democratic values and internal cohesion.
The newly elected executives are expected to lead the party’s grassroots mobilisation efforts and strengthen its structures ahead of the 2028 general elections.
The elected officers are:
- Chairman: Prince Boateng
- 1st Vice Chairman: Kumi Jacob Dwamena
- 2nd Vice Chairman: Mohammed Nurdeen Modo
- Secretary: Benjamin Boateng
- Assistant Secretary: Nyarko Frederick
- Treasurer: Asante Morgan Eric
- Organizer: Fuseini Moro
- Women’s Organizer: Kyi Baffour Angelina
- Youth Organizer: Frederick Boateng
- Communications Officer: Edmund Obeng Annor
- Nasara Coordinator: Abubakar Sadick
In a congratulatory message, the Member of Parliament for the area, Davis Opoku Ansah, commended all candidates who contested the various positions, describing their decision to offer themselves for service as a demonstration of commitment to the party and the development of Mpraeso.
The party also urged members to unite behind the newly elected executives and put the internal contest behind them as they work towards strengthening the NPP at the grassroots level.
According to the constituency, the focus now shifts to retaining the Mpraeso parliamentary seat and supporting the party’s efforts to secure victory in the 2028 general elections.
