The Director-General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA), Mohammed Abdul-Salam, has held a stakeholder engagement with Lotto Marketing Companies (LMCs), industry partners and other key players in Ghana’s lottery sector to discuss measures aimed at strengthening the industry and supporting ongoing reforms at the Authority.
The meeting focused on enhancing collaboration between the NLA and its marketing partners, addressing challenges within the lottery industry, and identifying practical strategies to support and retain Lotto Marketing Companies as the Authority implements a series of strategic reforms.
Speaking during the engagement, Mr. Abdul-Salam underscored the importance of strong partnerships in driving the growth and sustainability of the lottery sector.
He noted that the NLA is committed to working closely with its stakeholders to create an enabling environment that promotes innovation, efficiency and long-term success.
According to him, the Authority is undertaking reforms aimed at repositioning the NLA, improving operational performance and placing the organisation on a stronger footing for sustainable growth.
He emphasized that the continued commitment and support of Lotto Marketing Companies remain essential to achieving the Authority’s objectives and ensuring the success of the reform agenda.
Mr. Abdul-Salam expressed optimism about the future of the lottery industry, stating that enhanced cooperation between the NLA and its partners would help build a more resilient, innovative and prosperous sector that benefits all stakeholders.
