The Chief Executive Officer of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC), Samantha Cohen CVO OBE, has held a strategic meeting with the Chief Executive Officer of the Millennium Development Authority (MiDA), Alexander Kofi-Mensah Mould, to discuss ways to deepen cooperation, particularly in agriculture investment.
The visit, which included John Apea, Head of Mission for CWEIC in Ghana, focused on identifying opportunities to attract private sector investment into Ghana’s agricultural sector. Discussions centered on boosting productivity, value addition, and agribusiness development.

Mould highlighted MiDA’s mandate to drive inclusive economic growth through targeted investment interventions, emphasizing that partnerships with international investment bodies like CWEIC could mobilize critical resources to support Ghana’s development priorities.
Cohen reaffirmed CWEIC’s commitment to facilitating investment across Commonwealth countries and expressed her organization’s interest in supporting Ghana’s agricultural sector with sustainable and impactful investments.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to explore practical steps for strengthening collaboration in areas of mutual benefit, particularly within agriculture.
