Today for Tomorrow Fund (TFT) has officially commissioned two new classroom blocks, complete with teachers’ offices, at Sakasaka in Tamale, marking a significant contribution to improving education infrastructure in the Northern Region of Ghana.
On Thursday, May 22, 2025, TFT handed over a four-classroom block with an office for Sakasaka Junior High School (JHS) and a three-classroom block for Sakasaka Kindergarten School.

These facilities address urgent needs, especially after Sakasaka JHS lost its classroom block to a fire several years ago, and the kindergarten block at Sakasaka M/A Primary School ‘D’ had fallen into a dilapidated state, becoming unusable.
The commissioning ceremony was attended by notable guests, including the Director of the Northern Regional Ghana Education Service, TFT Directors Yusif Ya-Adzagey and Sephania Koutanyi, Member of Parliament for Sunyani East Seid Mubarak, and the Mayor of Tamale, Alhaji Abubakari Adam Takoro.

They all expressed their gratitude to the partners and artisans who contributed to the successful completion of the project.
The Directors of TFT highlighted that funding for the initiative was generously provided by Moolre Limited and Millennial Assets and Properties Ltd, whose commitment to community development has been invaluable.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Director of TFT, Sephania Koutanyi, stated that this initiative is more than just bricks and mortar, it symbolizes hope and a shared vision for a better future. By providing improved learning spaces, the project aims to inspire students and educators alike to reach their full potential.
Mr. Mubarak also underscored the critical role of teachers and parents in nurturing children to become future leaders of Ghana, urging continued support for schools to ensure quality education.

The Mayor, Mr. Takoro, on the other hand pledged the assembly’s commitment to maintaining the newly commissioned classroom blocks and supporting ongoing educational development in the area.
The Today for Tomorrow Fund continues to lead with purpose, demonstrating how targeted interventions can transform communities.

This commissioning is a testament to the power of partnership, dedication, and the unwavering belief in the transformative power of education.
TFT also promised to continue their projects including three ICT Centers in Volta Region and Bono Region in the near future.
