The National Democratic Congress (NDC) government has started rewarding people from the Academia who helped during their days in Opposition.
Prof Ranxford Gyampo and Dr. Kobby Mensah have been given appointment by the President John Dramani Mahama .
Ransfor Gyampo has been appointed to head Ghana Shippers Authority while Kobby Mensah has been appointed to lead Ghana Tourism development company .
However , many NDC supporter and grassroots, Pro NDC media Houses are surprised why Dr. Jonathan Asante Otchere who has been with NDC for the past 8 years has not gotten appointment.
This development has angered many Pro NDC Journalists who claim that Jonathan Asante has suffered victimization because he took on the past government and defended NDC policies .
“ I am very surprised that NDC has not rewarded Dr. Jonathan Asante Otchere . I am a Producer and I have used Jonathan Asante Otchere constantly to advance NDC Agenda. Sometimes our credit will finish and Asante Otchere will use his personal credit to call back,” Journalist with Powerfm Narrated.
A source close to former Chairman of NDC , Chairman Ofosu Ampofo also disclosed this portal that Jonathan Asante Otchere not gaining recognition in this government is very surprising.
Credible information available this portal indicates that Pro NDC Media houses are not happy that Dr. Jonathan Asante Otchere has not been given appointment and will soon launch a campaign to persuade government to recognize the efforts Jonathan Asante made to bring NDC to Power .
