The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced the timetable for its 2026 Constituency, Regional and National Executive Elections, setting out the schedule for the party’s upcoming internal electoral process.
The decision to release the roadmap was taken by the party’s Functional Executive Committee (FEC) at a meeting held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.
According to the party, the timetable outlines key stages of the elections, including the opening and submission of nominations, vetting of candidates, appeals, balloting and the final polls at the various levels of the party structure.
The NDC said the process is aimed at ensuring a transparent and credible exercise in line with the party’s constitution and approved election guidelines.
In a statement, the party urged regional and constituency executives, prospective candidates and members to familiarize themselves with the timelines and comply with all requirements.
The party said adherence to the schedule will be critical to ensuring a smooth and orderly process.
The NDC also expressed appreciation to its members and stakeholders for their commitment, saying the internal reorganization efforts would help strengthen the party ahead of the 2028 General Elections.
The statement added that the party remains confident that “the spirit of unity and collective purpose that has characterized our reorganization process will continue to strengthen the Party” as it prepares for the next national election.
