Former Deputy Director of the Ghana Education Service (GES), K.B. Tandoh, has engaged traders at the Mim market in the Asunafo North Municipality as part of efforts to strengthen his engagement with residents.
Mr. Tandoh visited the market on Monday, September 14, where he interacted with market women and men and visited stalls and shops to distribute aprons to traders.
He expressed appreciation to the Market Queen Mother and traders for the warm reception accorded him during the visit.
According to Mr. Tandoh, the engagement provided an opportunity to introduce himself to traders, listen to their concerns and share his vision for sustainable growth, community development and shared prosperity in Asunafo North.
He described market women and men as the heartbeat of the local economy, stressing the importance of supporting local businesses and creating an environment that promotes economic opportunities within the community.
Mr. Tandoh said the visit also underscored the importance of unity and collective action within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and among residents of Asunafo North.
He thanked the people of Mim for their support and pledged to continue engaging communities across the area as part of efforts to contribute to the development of the constituency.
