Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Dr John Abdulai Jinapor, has held discussions with key stakeholders in the energy sector to develop practical measures to address emerging challenges and strengthen energy security in Ghana.
The meeting brought together representatives of sector agencies, captains of industry and other key decision-makers to assess challenges confronting the sector and explore measures to ensure a reliable and sustainable energy supply.
The discussions focused on strategies to improve the stability of Ghana’s energy system and address emerging risks that could affect power supply across the country.
Dr Jinapor emphasised the need for coordinated action among government agencies and private-sector stakeholders to safeguard the country’s energy security.
The engagement forms part of efforts by the Ministry of Energy and Green Transition to strengthen collaboration within the sector and develop practical responses to challenges affecting energy generation, transmission and distribution.
The stakeholders are expected to work towards measures that will ensure the country maintains a stable, reliable and sustainable energy supply to support households, businesses and industry
