Deputy Chief of Staff, Nana Oye Bampoe Addo has reaffirmed government’s commitment to public sector transformation.
Delivering the closing address at the 12th Annual Conference of Chairpersons of Governing Boards, Chief Directors, and Chief Executives of the Public Services of Ghana, Deputy Chief of Staff Nana Oye Bampoe Addo underscored government’s renewed commitment to accountability, transparency, and efficiency in public administration.
Speaking on behalf of the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, she commended the Public Services Commission and participants for their contributions toward strengthening governance and institutional performance across the public sector.
The Deputy Chief of Staff highlighted that the conference aligned with President John Dramani Mahama’s Reset Agenda, which seeks to rebuild public confidence through ethical leadership and effective service delivery.
She noted that recent policy measures — including the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) initiative and the new Code of Conduct for Appointees — are part of government’s deliberate efforts to ensure that public office remains a position of trust, not personal enrichment.
Nana Oye Bampoe Addo also outlined key resolutions from the conference, including the integration of state institutions into the Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS), the implementation of a Pay-for-Performance framework in 2026, a 30% female representation target under the Gender Equity Act, and strong institutional backing for the 24-Hour Economy Programme.
