The Ghana National Gas Company has announced the early completion of its planned maintenance works, handing over its plant back to the operational team ahead of schedule.
The facility, which was shut down on August 16 for major maintenance expected to last two weeks, has been restored earlier than anticipated.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, the company said the technical and maintenance team had achieved a significant milestone, completing the exercise in record time.
Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Judith Adjobah Blay, commended the team for their hard work and collaboration, describing their dedication as the driving force behind the successful completion of the project.
The plant is expected to stabilize and resume receiving its expected gas volumes in the coming hours.
