The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the availability of scholarships for short-term capacity-building training programmes and tertiary education in various fields of study.
In a public notice issued on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, the Ministry stated, “Through its diplomatic engagements, scholarships for short term capacity building training programmes and for tertiary education covering various fields of study are availed to the Republic of Ghana for the benefit of its citizenry.”
The Ministry explained that details of the available programmes have been uploaded to its official website, [https://mfa.gov.gh/] (https://mfa.gov.gh/), to ensure easy access.
It added that scholarships received from partner countries are also transmitted to the Ghana Scholarships Secretariat for award to qualified applicants.
Interested Ghanaians are therefore encouraged to apply directly through the Ministry’s website in line with the published guidelines or contact the Ghana Scholarships Secretariat for available opportunities.

The Ministry further cautioned the public against engaging intermediaries in the application process, urging all applicants to rely solely on official information.
