The Accra High Court has granted substantial bail to former National Food and Buffer Stock Company (NAFCO) Chief Executive Officer, Hanan Abdul-Wahab Aludiba, and his wife, Faiza Seidu Wuni, who are standing trial for alleged financial crimes involving over GH₵115 million.
Justice Audrey Kocuvi-Tay, presiding over the case, admitted Hanan to bail in the sum of GH₵100 million with six sureties — four of which must be justified with landed property.
His wife, Faiza, was granted GH₵50 million bail with four sureties, three of which must also be justified within the court’s jurisdiction.
As part of the bail conditions, the court ordered that both be placed on the Ghana Immigration Service stop list, effectively barring them from leaving the country.
They are to report to the case investigator every Wednesday until the case is concluded, while the investigator must file monthly compliance reports.
The couple, who pleaded not guilty to 24 charges, including stealing, defrauding by false pretences, money laundering, and using public office for profit, appeared calm as the conditions were read out.
The court has set November 27, 2025, for the Case Management Conference, at which the prosecution is expected to file disclosures.
