The Ministry of Education has confirmed that all outstanding teacher allowances for November 2025 have been processed and paid, following the resolution of a technical issue that had delayed the payments.
In a statement dated Wednesday, December 17, 2025, the Ministry explained that the Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD) completed the processing and payment of two types of allowances for teachers. The delay was attributed to a technical problem during the final payroll run, which has now been resolved.
The Ministry expressed apologies to affected teachers for the inconvenience caused and thanked them for their patience and dedication.
“We deeply appreciate the patience, understanding, and continued dedication of our teachers, whose commitment remains central to the delivery of quality education across Ghana,” the statement said.
The Ministry also said it would work closely with the CAGD and other stakeholders to strengthen payroll systems and prevent similar delays in the future.
