Evans Eshun, popularly known as Ebo Noah, has been granted bail of GH₵100,000 by the Adentan Circuit Court, with two sureties required—one secured by a landed property or a vehicle.
The court has adjourned the case to March 18, 2026, his lawyer Emmanuel Sarfo confirmed.
The 33-year-old private security guard was remanded on January 2, 2026, and ordered to undergo a psychiatric assessment following his arrest by the Ghana Police Service’s Special Cyber Vetting Team on December 31, 2025.
Eshun came under investigation after posting videos on Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube between August and December 2025, claiming a global flood would occur on December 25, 2025, and that he was building an “ark” to save people. When the predicted disaster failed to materialize, he suggested his prayers had delayed it.
Following the ruling, Emmanuel Sarfo described the bail decision as fair and in accordance with judicial discretion. The court stressed that failure to meet the bail conditions could result in revocation.
