The mother of the Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment and National Youth Organizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), George Opare Addo, will be laid to rest on Saturday, December 6, at Awukugua in the Okere Constituency of the Eastern Region.
Madam Faustina Afua Asi Larbi, aged 73, passed away in October 2025. Her burial service is scheduled to take place at the Church of Pentecost, Awukugua Akuapem, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a private interment at the family burial grounds.
A final funeral and reception will then be held at Afua Asi’s residence in Awukugua Akuapem from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Funeral activities continue on Sunday, December 7, with a Thanksgiving Service at the Church of Pentecost, Awukugua Akuapem, at 10:00 a.m., after which a reception will be held at the family residence.
