The High Court in Accra has issued a warrant for the production of Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, currently an inmate at the Nsawam Medium Security Prison.

This follows the court’s order for her to open her defense to charges, alongside three others, after a submission of no case.

Nana Agradaa faces charges including possession of obscene material (contrary to Section 281(1) of the Criminal Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29)) and three counts of non-consensual sharing of intimate images (contrary to Section 67(1) of the Cybersecurity Act, 2020 (Act 1038).

Three others are also to respond to Conspiracy to commit crime, namely Non consensual sharing of intimate image, contrary to section 67(1) of the Cyber Security Act, 2020 ( Act 1038) and sections 23(1) and of the Criminal Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29).

His lawyer Richard Asare Baffour has prayed the Court to defer the ruling on the Submission of no case to answer.

Both her lawyers and prosecution had informed the Court that Agradaa had been convicted on July 3 and sentenced to 15 years.

Justice Mary Maame Ekue Yanzuh ruled that the prosecution has been able to made a case against them for which reason they are to open their defense.

The Court said she is to file her witness statement and processes within two weeks while the case was adjourned to July 30, 2025.

Meanwhile, the Court has issued a warrant directing prison authorities to ensure Nana Agradaa is present in Court.

The founder of the Heaven Way Champion International Ministry, affectionately called Nana Agradaa had pleaded not guilty for allegedly sharing nude pictures of a Prophet.

According to EIB Network’s Legal Affairs Correspondent, Murtala Inusah this case has no relation with the case at the Circuit Court for which she was jailed.
