The Central East Regional Police Command has arrested 19 individuals in connection with illicit drug trafficking and robbery activities in and around Kasoa Dominase and the Onion Market in the Central Region.
A statement signed by the Head of Public Affairs for the region, DSP Victor Kofi Dosoo, said the arrests were made during a special operation conducted on Thursday, June 12, 2025.

The suspects arrested include: Abubakari Ibrahim, Mohammed Awal, Shafiu Salisu, Hamza Amadu, All Adamu, Balhani Fuseini, Jamal Haruna, Zakari Abdulai, Abdul Aziz, Bera Kalidu, Moro Baki,
The rest are Anthony Lucky, Razak Yussif, Sumani Issah, Sulley Mohammed, Abdul Salifu, Eliasu Bukari, Kamelo Muuk, and Osumanu Amadu.
During the operation, law enforcement retrieved several exhibits, including quantities of tramadol, “Red” (a suspected narcotic drink), and substances believed to be Indian hemp.

The Regional Command praised the officers involved in the operation and encouraged the public to continue cooperating with the police by sharing timely information.
The Command emphasized that community support is vital in combating drug trafficking, substance abuse, and violent crime to ensure public safety.
