A blogger, Samuel Amadotor of Dklassgh.net, has been arrested by the Ghana Police Service for allegedly publishing false information about former National Communications Authority (NCA) board chair, Okatakye Boakye Danquah Ababio I.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID), in a statement signed by Chief Inspector Brigitte Babanawo, said Amadotor was apprehended on Thursday, November 20, 2025, with support from the National Signals Bureau (NSB) following a formal complaint from Mr. Ababio, who accused the blogger of circulating fabricated claims about him.
During interrogation, Amadotor reportedly admitted to the offence and implicated Chairman Michael Yeboah as the person who allegedly contracted him to publish the false information.
Police are currently seeking Yeboah to assist with the investigation.
Amadotor remains in police custody and is expected to appear in court on Friday, November 21, 2025.
The CID reminded the public to avoid sharing unverified information and assured that the case is being handled according to the law.
