A 27-year-old satellite installer, Emmanuel Bonsu, has been remanded in police custody by the Asante Akropong Circuit Court following allegations involving three young girls in Atwima Agogo, Atwima Nwabiagya North District.
Bonsu has pleaded not guilty to the charges and is scheduled to appear in court again on June 17.
According to Chief Inspector Evans Ayimbisah, prosecuting the case, the incidents occurred on different occasions earlier this year.
The first girl, aged 14, was reportedly approached while doing household chores and led to a nearby unfinished building where the incident is said to have taken place.
The second girl, aged 15, was allegedly taken to a secluded spot after school, where inappropriate contact was reported.
The third case involves an 11-year-old who was approached while running an errand and subjected to unwelcome behavior.
Following reports from the families, the police arrested Bonsu on May 16. During an identification parade, the victims identified him as the person involved. Bonsu has denied the allegations but has been charged and is currently before the court.
The case will continue with a hearing scheduled for June 17 as investigations proceed.
