President John Dramani Mahama is in the Ahafo Region for a two-day working visit as part of the next leg of his Resetting Ghana Tour.
The tour, scheduled for today and tomorrow, is expected to provide the President with an opportunity to engage stakeholders and assess development priorities in the region.
The visit forms part of President Mahama’s broader engagements across the country to interact with local communities, traditional authorities, political and business leaders, and other stakeholders on the government’s development agenda.
The Ahafo leg is also expected to offer an opportunity to discuss ongoing and proposed projects, regional development challenges and the implementation of the government’s policies and programmes.
The Resetting Ghana Tour is aimed at strengthening engagement between the Presidency and the regions as the government pursues its development priorities.
