National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu-Nketiah, has left Accra for Seoul, South Korea, to participate in an international conference involving political parties from across the world.
Mr Asiedu-Nketiah departed Ghana on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at the invitation of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP).
He is expected to attend the inaugural meeting of the Intercontinental Dialogue Among Political Parties, scheduled to take place in Seoul from September 7 to 9, 2026.
The meeting is expected to provide a platform for political parties from different continents to engage in dialogue and exchange ideas on issues of mutual interest.
In his absence, the NDC’s National Vice Chairman, Chief Awudu Sofo Azorka, will act as the National Chairman of the party.
The announcement was contained in a statement issued in Accra on September 6, 2026, and signed by the NDC Director of Communications, Kakra Essamuah.
