The Minerals Commission has welcomed Mawusi Ama Mawuenyefia as its new Director of Communication and Corporate Affairs.
The Commission announced her appointment in a welcome message, describing her expertise in corporate communications and stakeholder engagement as a valuable addition to the institution.
Mawuenyefia joins the Minerals Commission from the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources, where she served as Director of the Responsible Cooperative Mining and Skills Development Programme (rCOMSDEP).
In her new role, she is expected to support the Commission’s communication and stakeholder engagement efforts as it advances its mandate within Ghana’s minerals and mining sector.
The Commission, in welcoming her, highlighted professionalism, teamwork, integrity and service excellence as key values underpinning her work.
The Minerals Commission expressed excitement about having Mawuenyefia onboard and wished her success in her new position.
