The Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Star Oil Ghana Limited, Kwame Tieku, has expressed appreciation to customers for their continued support, which he says has helped the company regain its position as the country’s number one distributor of affordable fuel.
In a Facebook post dated September 1, Mr. Tieku announced what he described as Star Oil’s return to the top of the fuel distribution market.
“We are back. Thank you Starsavers!” he wrote, before adding that the company had regained the No.1 position with a network of 275 stations.
Mr. Tieku attributed the achievement to the loyalty and support of the company’s customers, popularly known as “Starsavers.”
He celebrated the development in a light-hearted message, saying, “A bird whispered – We are back on top (No.1) with 275 stations!! The top was too hot for them to handle, they just had to give it back to us.”
The announcement highlights Star Oil’s growing retail footprint and its continued focus on providing affordable fuel products to consumers across Ghana.
Mr. Tieku’s message also underscored the company’s appreciation for its customers as Star Oil seeks to consolidate its position in Ghana’s competitive downstream petroleum market.
