Aspirant for the National Youth Organiser position of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Okai Mintah, has appealed to the party’s youth to entrust him with the leadership of the youth wing.
Mr Mintah made the appeal in a Facebook post on Sunday, August 30, 2026, as he intensifies his campaign ahead of the party’s internal elections.
In a passionate message to the NDC youth, the aspirant urged party members to support his bid, presenting himself as a leader who is prepared to work directly for the interests of the youth.
“Make me your CHIEF ERRAND BOY, for I know how to get things done,” Mr Mintah wrote.
The statement appears to underscore his campaign message of action, accessibility and service, with the aspirant positioning himself as a hands-on organiser who would prioritise delivering results for the party’s youth.
Mr Mintah is seeking to lead the NDC’s youth wing at a time when the party continues to mobilise its grassroots base and prepare for future electoral contests.
