The Member of Parliament for Yapei-Kusawgu Constituency and Minister for Energy and Green Transition, Dr John Abdulai Jinapor, has met with aspirants who contested in the constituency’s recently concluded governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) constituency executive elections to promote unity and reconciliation within the party.
The meeting was aimed at encouraging renewed commitment to the party’s collective interests following the internal elections.
Dr Jinapor said internal elections should strengthen the NDC rather than create divisions among members, stressing that the party’s broader objectives must take precedence over individual victories.
He congratulated the newly elected constituency executives and commended all aspirants for their courage and willingness to serve the party.
According to him, the conclusion of the elections should mark the beginning of a renewed effort by all contestants and party members to work together.
He emphasised that there should be no winners or losers when the ultimate goal is the collective progress of the party.
Dr Jinapor reaffirmed his commitment to working with all aspirants, executives and members to build a stronger, more united and inclusive NDC.
He urged party members to put the contest behind them and focus on strengthening the party and advancing their shared objectives.
