GCB Bank has dismissed reports linking its Labone Branch in Accra to an alleged robbery attempt, clarifying that the incident did not occur on the bank’s premises.
In a statement, the bank said its Labone Branch was neither breached nor targeted during the reported incident.
It added that no customers or employees were affected, while no funds or property belonging to the bank were lost or damaged.
GCB Bank assured customers that the Labone Branch remains fully operational and secure, urging the public to continue using its services without concern.
The bank said the safety and security of its customers, staff and facilities remain a priority, adding that it has security measures in place across its branch network.
GCB Bank further disclosed that it is engaging with the relevant authorities and monitoring developments surrounding the reported incident.
